It has already been such a fabulous ride! Thank you to the extraordinary and incomparable Richard Hutton, who nominated me to the Executive Board of the Criminal Courts Bar Association, paving the way to my presidency.

I adore being a criminal defense attorney. I have done nothing else and only in private practice. My first year was in criminal appeals but I apparently have a bit of a personality. I am so lucky that I decided on a career that makes my life so full, rich, stimulating, interesting, and fun.

Thank you to my law partner of nine years this June, Alison Triessl. Talk about lucky! To practice law with your sister, who is so similar to you but also so different in all the right ways (i.e.: she's the global thinker, the forest, and I'm the detailed thinker, the trees, she's the diplomatic one and I'm the fireball), is absolutely wonderful, every day. I love you, bloom.

To my mentors, Richard Hutton, Robert Sheahan and Paul Takakjian, your value is limitless, your love and support boundless, your generosity mind-blowing and your wisdom, experience and knowledge-breadth incredible.
